MEDICALLY MANAGED WEIGHT LOSS
At Minted Aesthetics we are passionate about making our clients feel the best on the inside and out, in all aspects of their life. We are currently offering a medically managed weight loss program with Semaglutide and Tirzepatide, both GLP-1 medications that help with weight reduction. The program is managed and monitored by our Nurse Practitioners, Kansys Clouse and Mel Merkley.
Our program consists of a once a week injection of the medication we decide you are best suited for (Semaglutide or Tirzepatide). These injections can be done at home or in the office weekly, we will give you instructions and education if you decide to do the home injections. You will come in once a month to one of our 3 locations to see one of our medical providers for a weigh in, on a medical grade scale, and a check in to evaluate progress.
The monthly membership price includes your weigh ins, check ins, follow ups, medication and supplies. Diet and exercise recommendations and all access to our providers for any questions or concerns.
GLP-1 medication that has recently gained a lot of popularity for its weight management properties. GLP-1's are not a new drug class but recently gained traction. Semaglutide has been shown to reduce weight by 10-15% and Tirzepatide can result in 20% weight reduction. The medications work in the body to curb cravings, decrease appetite, slow the GI tract down so you feel fuller for longer and stimulate the pancreas to work more efficiently. The medication is a once a week injection with a tiny needle into the subcutaneous fat (arm, leg, or stomach). Instructions on how to give yourself the shot will be given to you and if you do not feel comfortable giving yourself a shot you are welcome to come into the clinic to receive the injection.
