WHAT ARE DERMAL FILLERS?
Dermal fillers can help fill in facial lines/wrinkles, restore soft tissue volume loss, and contour facial structures, to create a smoother and more balanced appearance. As we age, we lose collagen, elastin and volume (including tissue, fat and even bone!). Dermal fillers are made of hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in the body, and a critical molecular component of human connective tissue, especially important in providing volume, hydration, and structure to the skin and underlying supportive structures.
Dermal fillers can be used to smooth, define, contour, hydrate, and volumize multiple areas of the face including the lips, chin, jawline, cheeks, around the mouth, smile lines, and under eyes (tear troughs).
WHAT TO EXPECT AT YOUR APPOINTMENT
You will have a consultation with your provider to determine that you are a good candidate for dermal filler treatment. They will evaluate your areas of concern and review your medical history. An individualized, comprehensive, full face treatment plan will be provided.
Dermal filler pricing starts at $500 for one treatment area and varies greatly by area and amount of product used. A consultation is required for detailed treatment and pricing information.
DERMAL FILLER TREATMENT AND AFTERCARE
Results from dermal filler are visible immediately after treatment but settle into fully healed results at 2-4 weeks. The injection process for dermal fillers typically involves numbing (topical or local anesthesia) to minimize discomfort. The healing process involves swelling and potential bruising, please schedule your appointment at least 4 weeks before any important events. You will receive detailed pre and post procedure instructions upon booking your appointment and your provider will discuss the healing process at length prior to treatment.
